Art. 84
The basis
Half a month's wage for each of the first five years and a full month for each year after, with fractions of a year pro-rated, on the final wage.
Art. 85
Resignation
Under 2 years: nothing. 2 to 5 years: one third. 5 to 10 years: two thirds. 10 years or more: the full benefit.
Arts. 80 and 87
Exceptions
Termination for an Art. 80 cause forfeits the benefit. A female employee receives the full benefit if she ends the contract within six months of marriage or three months of childbirth.
